A 37-YEAR-OLD Bulawayo woman who is battling cancer is appealing for financial assistance to settle her ballooning medical bills.

Tembinkosi Ndiweni of Nkulumane 5 said the cancer affected one of his legs and is spreading.

“I was diagnosed with cancer in September last year and it has been spreading to the extent that I have been given one of the big decisions to take, to amputate the leg,” she said.

“I was discharged last week from United Bulawayo Hospital, that is when I had to have my operation but doctors could not carry out the operation saying they needed to amputate my leg, as the cancer is spreading.”

“I don’t have any medication and I need to clean the wound daily.”

Ndiweni, who is unemployed, has been receiving assistance from his grandmother.

Those willing to assist Ndiweni should contact her on 077 517 3176.
