The iGo Recipe Book is a collection of 30 recipes created by their nutrition and culinary arts experts. The book is a comprehensive guide designed for those who enjoy cooking healthy meals and are eager to improve their cooking in the comfort of their own kitchens.

Speaking at the launch in Harare early this week, Cimas iGo head of department Willmore Kapuyanyika said the book is instrumental to prevent noncommunicable diseases.

"This recipe book is important towards efforts to prevent noncommunicable diseases such as strokes, cancers, heart diseases, diabetes and kidney diseases as it offers healthy, nutrient-rich easy-to-follow recipes,” he said.

In an interview, iGo dietitian Kudzai Vere told NewsDay that they put together a collection of 30 recipes to demistfy myth that healthy food is boring as they offer nutritious and healthy foods.

“Healthy food doesn't have to taste bad!' The iGo Recipe Book demystifies nutrition, offering solutions for chronic conditions while keeping meals delicious,” she said.
