Lady Sables and Junior Sables set for back-to-back South Africa assignments.

While the senior Sables prepare for their high-stakes clash against South Africa A on 20 June, Zimbabwe Rugby's development structures are also being put to the test in South Africa this month, with both the Lady Sables and the Junior Sables scheduled for two fixtures each across back-to-back weekends.

The action begins on 16 June at Phamale Sport Village in Nylstroom, where the Lady Sables face Limpopo Women at 13:00, before the Junior Sables take the field at the same venue against Limpopo U21 XV at 15:30. The double-header in Nylstroom gives both squads valuable match time in South African conditions before the more demanding assignments that follow later in the week.

Three days later, attention shifts to Pretoria, where Naka Bulle Rugby Club hosts another double-header on 19 June. The Lady Sables face the Isuzu Bulls Daisies XV at 17:30, followed by the Junior Sables taking on the Blue Bulls President U20s at 19:00 in what promises to be a stern examination of Zimbabwe's emerging talent against one of South Africa's most established rugby development programmes.

The fixtures represent an important part of Zimbabwe Rugby's broader preparation strategy, with the Lady Sables programme continuing to build its competitive calendar and the Junior Sables gaining exposure against high-quality South African opposition ahead of future international commitments.

With the senior Sables, Lady Sables and Junior Sables all active in South Africa within days of each other, it is shaping up to be one of the most significant weeks in Zimbabwe Rugby's recent history across all three programmes.
